Q. How can I login and make changes to my site?
A. To make changes to your website, please click on the members login button and then enter your SiteWizard username and password provided by our support team.
Q. How can I change the password for my SiteWizard account?
A. To change your login password, you will need to login to your SiteWizard account then select "your account" and then click on the picture of the key underneath the modify column.
Q. How can I change the username for my SiteWizard account?
A. To change your username, you will need to email our support team, specifying a new username (This must be a fully functional email address).
Q. How can I view the number of hits my site is receiving?
A. To view your hit counter value, you will need to login to your SiteWizard account then select "your account" the number of hits will be displayed in the "Site Counter Value:" section. If require this hit counter to be reset please email a member of our support team.
Q. When I try to login to my SiteWizard account, I get a message saying "Thanks for using SiteWizard" what am I doing wrong?
A. SiteWizard's editing software runs on pop up windows technology, for you to be able to edit your site you will need to disable all pop up blocking software, please see the 'Disabling Pop-Up Blockers' section on the support page for details on software that can block pop up windows.
Q. How can I change the address that my contact form goes to?
A. To change the email address that your submission form goes to, you will need to login to your SiteWizard account then select "Modify Site" and then select "General Settings". You will then need to enter your new email address in the "Email address" box and click on the update settings button.
Q. When I make changes to the site via the editor, I keep getting an older version appear when I re-visit my website?
A. This is all down to your computer viewing a locally stored cached version of your website and not the actual live version. To overcome this you will need to visit your site and the hold down the ctrl button on you keyboard and press the F5 Key. In Internet explorer you will also need to go to the tools menu and then select Internet options, in the temporary Internet files section click on the settings button and then select the "every visit to site" option.
Q. When I make an enquiry on my contact form, why I do not receive the email?
A. When you complete the form, please ensure you enter a valid email address into the "email address" box, if you are still having problems please contact out technical support team on 08450 60 88 60
Q. When I try to upload an image into the SiteWizard control panel I get a message saying the file is too large what can I do?
A. You will need to resize the image in an image-editing package i.e. Adobe Photoshop or Jasc Paintshop Pro; the image can be no larger than 100KB.
Q. Will SiteWizard work on my Apple Mac?
A. We are afraid for the time being, SiteWizard is not compatible with Apple Macintosh Machines, this is due to the editor using Internet Explorer technologies that are only made available on PC based machines. Our development team are currently working on version three of the SiteWizard system that will be available to use on the Apple Mac.
